The Hamada Acorn Initiative has the following GOALS:

1. Collect 13 tonnes of acorn caps for export to
natural leather tanning factory.

2. Harvest & Process 1000K of acorns into
Gluten Free Acorn Flour.

3. Produce Acorn Animal Feed.

4. Encourage the production of many lines of Acorn
based products by retailing them in our future
shop at port on Kea.

7 January 2012: We found & tested a local flour mill that mills acorn to perfection! Vagelis Politis will mill our acorn flour at Peesses for 2012
Acorn Oil is probably the most luctrative product made from the Oak nut.

Kean Acorn Flour & Oil Coopertive will produce high grade filtered oil for gourmet and cosmetic products.
